Lauren was from Melbourne, Sandra is from Sydney so naturally they met in PERTH! They met during the Police & Emergency Services Games and have been together just over 2 years.
After a year of long distance they had spoken in great detail about their future together, who would move states, starting new careers and living together. Once they had decided to change their lives for love, the proposal was the fun part of how we could express that. Lauren organized an outdoor picnic at our favourite beach location and a videographer to capture the whole moment on film!
Then came the wedding day!! What a stella day… they day which we all thought was going to rain they both made the decision to still keep the ceremony outdoors and hope the rain didn’t come… WELL it certainly did not arrive. Both myself and Lauren got absolutely smashed by the sun during the ceremony.
The morning was a super relaxing lots of laughs were shared and captured their wonderful dresses together when they had not idea what dresses each other had picked.
The ceremony was an absolute hit lead by the amazing Shoshanna from Curator of love stories. Tears were shed and stomachs were sore from the laughter it was definitely one to remember and we also learnt all about operation Colgate!! (check out Sandras smile)
