Step into the Autumn goodness on the South Coast of NSW at The Barn on the Ridge in Milton. I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Jasmin & Dean’s unforgettable day! Their South coast wedding celebrated their love and had the most incredible sunset, followed with the ultimate dance floor experience. We had the cuteness overload of their 11 week old daughter Sally to join in on the fun and made the day even more special.
The Barn on the Ridge
The Barn on the Ridge is a hidden gem nestled in the countryside of Milton, NSW. Surrounded by lush rainforests, rural, country farming landscapes & mountain backdrops. You can even see Pigeon House Mountain in all its glory. This venue is where magic happens a blending rustic charm and timeless elegance. Imagine walking into a space that’s DIY and you have the freedom to create anything with your blank canvas.
Getting Ready
Arriving at the boys I walked into a vibe that was ready to support Dean marry the girl of his dreams. There was so much laughter and the jokes were rolling. Especially when they all pulled out their matching socks with Deans face on them!
Jasmin got ready with her girls and the gorgeous Sally. She embraced her role as a cool new mum with style and grace. While little Sally brought an extra dose of adorableness to the day. When I saw Jasmins details I was jumping with excitement for the amazing colour palette they had chosen with The Wild Rose Florist Moruya. The Autumn colour palette mixed so well between the florals and the girls dresses.
The Ceremony At the Barn on the Ridge
Pigeon House Mountain holds some significance for Jasmin and Dean. The two have climbed this mountain several times one of those being there first date (well in Deans head their first date). So they decided to have their Ceremony at the well overlooking Pigeon House Mountain. It was a breathtaking taking ceremony that was so beautiful.
Bridal Party Photos
As the rest of the afternoon unfolded we were treated to an amazing South Coast sunset, which made that autumn theme shine. The sun painted the landscape with such vivid colours. I seized the opportunity to capture Jasmin & Dean as a couple and with their bridal party. Of course getting to celebrate with an EPIC champagne shake shot.
The Reception
What was already an EPIC day turned into and EPIC reception. We started out with the most amazing heartfelt yet funny speeches along with an amazing meal as always from Bump Road Catering. Then led to the dance floor opening with a beautiful first dance and a dance with their parents. Jasmins brothers joined and put her up on their shoulders and welcomed everyone else onto the dance floor. The party started right here!!!
